Optimizing Network Connectivity for AWS Applications

This case study outlines the implementation of Multicloud & Cloud Connect Solutions by Sparkle for a leading Turkish Group operating in various sectors including aviation and logistics. The customer aimed to enhance the connectivity and reliability of its critical applications hosted on AWS due to increasing reliance on cloud-based applications. The existing internet-based connectivity was insufficient, prompting the need for a more reliable and secure network connection. Specific availability, Recovery Time Objective (RTO), and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) requirements were defined to ensure business continuity. The implemented solution included AWS Direct Connect, AWS Transit Gateway, and AWS CloudFormation, among others, to optimize network performance. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were established to monitor connection performance, achieving an uptime of 99.95%, reduced latency to 30 ms, and consistent compliance with RTO and RPO objectives. The case study details the comprehensive approach taken to fulfill the customer's connectivity needs and improve overall network management.
