Successful Implementation of Xactly’s CEA at Classy

This case study details the implementation of Xactly's Compliance Enforcement and Administration (CEA) tool at Classy, a software platform for crowdfunding and peer-to-peer fundraising. As Classy expanded its sales team, it faced challenges in managing commission accruals in compliance with ASC606 regulations. The reliance on spreadsheets for commission calculations was time-consuming and error-prone, leading to significant delays in reporting and decision-making. SpectrumTek was engaged to facilitate the implementation of CEA alongside Xactly's Incent tool. The project involved training Classy's accounting team and ensuring accurate data integration. A parallel run confirmed the accuracy of CEA's outputs compared to the previous spreadsheet method. The successful implementation improved visibility into sales data, automated commission calculations, and ensured compliance with accounting regulations.
