This case study outlines the partnership between the Italian Revenue Agency and Speexx for corporate language training aimed at enhancing the language skills of its employees. Established in 2001, the Italian Revenue Agency operates under the Ministry of Economy and Finance and employs nearly 28,000 staff. The Agency sought to transition from standardized training approaches to a more customized and practical training method. Speexx conducted an analysis of the language training needs for 1,500 employees, initiating a program with 500 users in January 2024. The training includes a self-study platform, video writing workshops, and virtual conversation classes, focusing on real-world communication skills. Initial results show significant engagement, with users averaging 17 hours of training each from January to June 2024. The Agency plans to expand its training programs to all personnel and develop additional language training solutions, including German, to enhance overall language capabilities across the organization.
