

This case study documents the challenges faced by Teddy Clinical Research Laboratory in managing their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) as their business expanded. Established in 2016, Teddy Lab experienced rapid growth, leading to increased complexity in business requirements that the legacy LIMS could not adequately address. The outdated system struggled with data management, sample lifecycle management, and compliance with regulatory standards. To overcome these challenges, Teddy Lab partnered with STARLIMS to implement a modern LIMS solution that supports comprehensive data management, automated sample lifecycle processes, and stringent quality compliance. The STARLIMS system offers centralized data management, ensuring data integrity and traceability while facilitating a paperless laboratory environment. The implementation aimed to enhance operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and improve user experience through a web-based interface.
