This case study details the logistics operations improvement of Sutton Group of Companies through the implementation of the StarWind HCI Appliance (HCA). Sutton, a group of companies in the footwear industry, faced challenges with its traditional SAN setup running Hyper-V, which was complex and required a significant physical footprint due to multiple servers. The existing system did not meet performance expectations and led to increased operational overhead. To address these issues, Sutton sought a more efficient solution. The StarWind HCI Appliance was selected for its ability to deliver enhanced performance while reducing complexity and physical space requirements. The hyperconverged nature of the StarWind HCA enabled Sutton to transition to an all-flash storage system, resulting in faster data access and improved overall performance. The implementation of the StarWind HCI Appliance allowed Sutton to simplify its IT operations and achieve the desired performance improvements.
