Holcim EMEA Digital Center Document Management Case Study

This case study details the collaboration between Holcim EMEA Digital Center and Syntax to modernize its document management system by transitioning from an on-premise solution to a cloud-based system integrated with SAP and AWS. The initiative aimed to address challenges such as high operational costs, document duplication, and inefficiencies in document management. The project involved developing a new document management system that effectively migrated over 65 million documents, reduced upload times to milliseconds, and achieved a 0% file duplication rate. Additionally, the implementation resulted in a tenfold reduction in document management costs and a significant decrease in the size of the SAP database by 14.5 TB.
