Progressive Web Application Development Case Study

This case study details the collaboration between a nurse-led care coaching company, Curally, and Tarkenton to develop a progressive web application. The project aimed to enhance the company's app to better serve participants and align with its brand identity. The development process was divided into four phases, starting with understanding Curally's business model and requirements, followed by UX/UI design, user testing, and API-first development. The first phase involved creating a Customer Journey Map to identify essential features for the app. In the second phase, the UX/UI team developed a high-fidelity prototype, which underwent user testing to gather feedback for improvements. The third phase focused on an API-first strategy, ensuring a well-documented API architecture. Finally, the fourth phase involved coding the application using a microservices architecture based on Kubernetes principles. The outcome was a fully functional app that significantly improved performance and user experience, ready for Curally's brand launch.
