This case study details the implementation of Tealium's AIStream by a leading global electronics company to address online shopping cart abandonment. The objective was to create a real-time AI-driven prediction and intervention system that could analyze customer behavior instantly and predict abandonment before it occurred. The solution utilized Tealium's TiQ Tag Management System to capture visitor events, which were processed through Tealium's EventStream to create a continuous flow of user behavior data. Custom business rules were developed using Tealium Functions to transform raw data into model-ready features. The system segmented customers into three distinct groups based on their likelihood to purchase, enabling targeted interventions. Results included enhanced customer segmentation, improved cart recovery rates, and optimized marketing spend. The implementation reduced the time-to-action for interventions from hours to seconds, providing a significant competitive advantage and establishing a foundation for future real-time personalization initiatives.
