This case study outlines the modernization of a credit card transaction analytics platform undertaken by a major credit card services organization. The objective was to enhance analytics performance, operational resilience, and enable near real-time fraud detection in high-volume transaction environments. The organization faced challenges such as inconsistent performance during peak transaction processing, limited visibility for root cause identification of pipeline failures, and fragmented logs that prolonged incident triage. TechWish addressed these issues by optimizing Delta workloads, enhancing log intelligence, and standardizing operational workflows. Key technologies implemented included workload-based table tuning for Delta Lake, anomaly detection for failure trend analysis, and runbook automation. The results showed a stabilization of analytics performance, a significant reduction in query variability, and improved incident recovery times. Enhanced operational visibility and structured workflows contributed to stronger analytics reliability, ensuring continuity in fraud monitoring and reporting operations.
