This case study documents the efforts of a multinational pharmaceutical supplier to address communication latency issues within its supply chain. The organization faced significant inefficiencies due to outdated point-to-point integrations, which led to data silos and inflated operational costs estimated at $3.2 million annually. To combat these challenges, the supplier partnered with TechWish to implement an enterprise application integration solution using Microsoft Azure technologies. The project aimed to enable real-time collaboration, streamline data flows, and reduce inefficiencies. As a result, the supplier achieved a 61.3% reduction in communication latency across key supply chain hubs, which enhanced coordination and agility. Additionally, manual interventions in supply chain operations decreased by 42.7%, leading to improved process accuracy and allowing staff to focus on strategic tasks. The initiative also generated $2.1 million in annual savings by reducing legacy infrastructure costs, thereby laying the groundwork for scalable digital growth.
