TELCOR eLearning Interface for Point of Care Management

This document is a technical report detailing the TELCOR eLearning interface designed to streamline the management of Point of Care (POC) operators. It outlines the challenges faced by healthcare organizations, particularly Children's Minnesota, in managing operator competencies across multiple systems, including a Learning Management System (LMS) and a Human Resource Information System (HRIS). The report explains how the eLearning interface automatically integrates competency data, reducing manual entry errors and improving efficiency. Key features include automatic updates of operator demographics, certification based on competencies, and the ability to track various training components. The report also presents the solution implemented at Children's Minnesota, which significantly decreased the time required for competency updates from five minutes to ten seconds per operator, resulting in substantial time savings and improved patient care.
