This case study details the implementation of a new cloud phone system by TeleComp for Parts Warehouse Inc. (PWI), a member of the Bumper to Bumper Alliance. PWI faced challenges with maintaining reliable phone service across its 200 retail locations, particularly in rural areas, due to the rising costs and unreliability of analog phone lines. The study outlines the collaboration between TeleComp and PWI to migrate to a hosted phone system using Mitel technology. A fast-tracked process was established to minimize downtime, with six stores selected as test sites. The transition involved managing number porting, configuring the new system to meet unique store needs, and providing training resources for employees. The implementation resulted in improved call quality, enhanced functionality, and a significant return on investment, with an average ROI of 211% in the first year. The case study emphasizes the importance of a smooth transition and the positive impact on store efficiencies and profitability.
