This case study outlines the implementation of blockchain technology in the digitalisation of telecommunications infrastructure by Atrebo, which manages over 200,000 infrastructures, including towers and other sites. The TREE platform provides infrastructure managers with access to real-time status information, enhancing operational and logistical traceability and transparency. The study details how traceability information allows for differentiation between various towers, enabling profitability assessments based on location, equipment, conservation state, and incident history. The integration of blockchain facilitates innovation and the development of new business models, such as the tokenization of towers through NFTs. The project is positioned as a benchmark for using digital assets in telecommunications management, aiming to establish a market standard for auditing related information. The TrustOS platform will register these infrastructures, allowing for easy certification and auditing of their status and activity history, while ensuring transparency in contract processes.
