This case study details the implementation of an automated workflow for cross-interaction chromatography (CIC) by a leading biopharmaceutical company in collaboration with TetraScience. The objective was to enhance the CIC workflow, which previously involved time-consuming and error-prone manual processes. The company faced challenges such as excessive manual steps, which could take up to 4 hours per run, and low throughput due to the complexity of data handling. The solution involved the integration of the Tetra Scientific Data and AI Cloud, which automated data capture, contextualized raw CIC data, and ensured seamless integration with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and electronic lab notebooks (ELN). As a result, the research team saved significant time, increased assay throughput, and improved data integrity. The automated workflow not only accelerated antibody discovery but also prepared the data for future advanced analytics and AI applications.
