This technical report presents a case study on the application of a multiparameter inversion workflow to an ocean bottom node (OBN) dataset from the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil. The study focuses on the challenges posed by the complex geology of the region, which includes layered evaporites above pre-salt reservoirs. The multiparameter inversion technique integrates full waveform inversion (FWI) and least-squares reverse time migration (LS-RTM) to enhance structural imaging and amplitude fidelity. The methodology is detailed, explaining how it utilizes a joint inversion approach to improve model accuracy and reduce parameter crosstalk. The results demonstrate significant improvements in imaging quality, particularly in the pre-salt interval, highlighting the operational efficiency of the workflow. The report concludes that this integrated approach is effective for subsurface characterization, supporting exploration and development decisions in complex geological settings. Comparisons with elastic inversion techniques suggest further enhancements in resolution and interface definition.
