This technical report presents the CORE Framework for building resilience in leadership. It begins by defining resilience and its significance in leadership roles, emphasizing the necessity for leaders to adapt to challenges and disruptions. The report outlines the CORE Framework, which integrates four key areas: physical, mental, emotional, and social resilience. Each area is described in detail, highlighting its importance in fostering effective leadership. Additionally, the report reviews eight everyday practices that can enhance resilience, including physical activity, sleep, mindfulness, cognitive reappraisal, savoring, gratitude, social connection, and social contact. These practices are supported by empirical evidence and are designed to be easily integrated into daily life. The report concludes with a discussion on the practical applications of the CORE Framework, aiming to provide leaders with strategies to cultivate resilience and avoid burnout in the face of ongoing challenges.
