Streamlining Tribal Healthcare Claims Processing

This case study details how TAP Innovations transformed the claims processing system for MLR Tribal Solutions, LLC, which manages claims and payment data for various Native American Health Departments across the United States. MLR faced significant challenges due to inefficiencies and integration issues stemming from their reliance on SharePoint. To address these challenges, TAP Innovations implemented a multi-phase approach that replaced SharePoint with a custom application designed to automate billing and check processing while providing seamless access to provider data. As a result of this transformation, MLR achieved a fully integrated environment that allows for enterprise access to member claim payment and status information. The project, now in its 27th phase, continues to evolve and succeed, demonstrating the effectiveness of TAP Innovations in streamlining healthcare operations for tribal organizations.
