Nexus Between Forced Scamming and Sextortion of Children

This research article investigates the connection between forced scamming and the financially-motivated sextortion of children. Funded by Safe Online and the Thomson Reuters Social Impact Institute, it analyzes CyberTipline Reports and internet infrastructure data to uncover patterns linking these two emerging crime types. The findings highlight the urgent need for continued investigation and collaboration among law enforcement and electronic service providers to combat these transnational crime
