This study examines the workplace expectations and preferences of Generation Z, defined as individuals born between 1997 and the early 2000s. It highlights how this generation is transforming traditional workplace norms and setting new standards for employee expectations. The research reveals that Gen Z prioritizes benefits, growth opportunities, and work-life balance over salary alone. A significant portion of respondents indicated a willingness to accept lower pay in exchange for fulfilling non-salary needs. The study also discusses the importance of company values and diversity, noting that many Gen Z workers would leave a job if their employer's values do not align with their own. Furthermore, the research addresses challenges faced by Gen Z, such as student debt and the need for flexible work arrangements. The findings suggest that companies must adapt to these preferences to attract and retain Gen Z talent effectively.
