This case study details the implementation of the Threater platform by a midwestern bank to enhance its cybersecurity measures. The bank, which has been operational since 1885, faced significant challenges in protecting its network from cyber threats while adhering to regulatory compliance with a limited IT team. The CEO proposed deploying the Threater platform to bolster their defense-in-depth strategy. The platform integrates FS-ISAC threat feeds, allowing the bank to block attacks from over 150 million malicious IPs and domains in real-time. Following the deployment, the bank reported a significant reduction in malicious traffic, improved visibility and control over its security posture, and simplified compliance auditing processes. The integration of the Threater platform has also led to increased efficiency in managing security devices and threat intelligence feeds, ultimately enhancing the bank's overall security capabilities without escalating management overhead.
