This case study outlines the identity management transformation at Princeton Public Schools ISD 477 through the integration of HelloID, an identity management software. The school district faced significant challenges before adopting HelloID, including delays in account activation for staff and students, difficulties in managing email group inclusions, and security risks associated with account deactivation for departing individuals. The evaluation process for selecting HelloID highlighted its cost-effectiveness, ease of setup, and responsive support, making it a preferred choice over previous cumbersome systems. The integration of HelloID automated account management processes, significantly enhancing efficiency and productivity by saving time and resources. It also improved security measures by automating the deactivation of accounts, thus reducing unauthorized access risks. The support provided during and after implementation was noted as top-tier. The case study concludes with the school district's endorsement of HelloID for other educational organizations aiming to streamline their identity management operations.
