IT Staff Augmentation Project for FinTech Company

This document is a case study detailing the IT staff augmentation project conducted by Towa - Nearshore Software Excellence for a fintech company from April 2017 to November 2023. The project involved sourcing approximately 40 specialists to enhance the client's delivery channel development capabilities, which included building mobile and web applications. The primary objective was to expand project management capacity from managing two active projects to over twenty simultaneously. Towa successfully delivered high-quality outputs on time and within budget, employing both waterfall and agile methodologies. The project resulted in the productive release of several applications and systems, including a mobile application and a payment media transactional switch. The case study also includes feedback from the Director of Delivery Channels at the fintech company, highlighting the effective communication and collaboration throughout the project, as well as areas for potential improvement in the personnel selection process.
