Analysis of the Mirai Botnet and Its Impact

This research article presents a detailed retrospective analysis of the Mirai botnet, which exploited IoT devices to conduct massive DDoS attacks. The study covers the botnet's growth, device composition, and evolution over seven months, highlighting the security challenges posed by IoT vulnerabilities.
