This case study presents the collaboration between a Scandinavian Government Agency and Trilio to implement a data protection solution for Red Hat OpenShift. The Agency, which focuses on atmospheric research and public safety services, adopted a container-based strategy and recognized the need for a modern disaster recovery approach. In September 2021, they engaged Trilio to address their backup needs in Kubernetes environments. The Agency sought a cloud-native automated backup and recovery product that integrates with OpenShift and supports other automated tools. After a successful Proof of Concept in October 2021, the Agency subscribed to Trilio for OpenShift in February 2022. The deployment was successful, leading to an expansion of Trilio's data protection capabilities to additional applications. The partnership exemplifies Trilio's commitment to providing flexible and scalable solutions tailored to the Agency's evolving needs in mission-critical operations.
