Alteva Case Study on TSplus Remote Access Implementation

This case study details the collaboration between Alteva and ITS Integra to implement TSplus as a remote access solution, replacing a Citrix-based system. Alteva faced challenges including high costs due to additional server and licensing fees from a new Citrix version, scalability issues for 2,000 users, complex migration requirements, and the need for seamless security integration. The implementation process was divided into three phases: a proof of concept was established with two servers to test key functionalities, followed by a migration process that involved direct uninstallation of Citrix and configuration of TSplus, and concluded with full deployment across Alteva’s infrastructure. The results included significant cost reductions, improved user experience, effective scalability, and simplified management for the IT team. This transition allowed Alteva to maintain high performance and security while supporting a growing user base.
