This technical report details the implementation of an IPTV and Digital Signage solution at the Mercedes-Benz Arena, a multi-purpose facility in Berlin. Opened in 2008 and owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, the arena has a capacity of 17,000 spectators and has hosted various major events. Following a partnership with Mercedes-Benz in 2015, the venue underwent technological upgrades to enhance customer experience and create new revenue opportunities. The report outlines the deployment of around 200 screens equipped with IPTV and Digital Signage capabilities using Tripleplay's technology. It describes the integration of features such as remote screen control, content scheduling, and low latency streaming, which allows live event coverage to be displayed throughout the venue. Additionally, the system is integrated with Active Directory for user management and legacy scoreboard solutions, ensuring efficient communication and content distribution across the arena. The implementation aims to provide a seamless experience for visitors while maintaining security and control over the system.
