This document is a report detailing the findings of the Multi-Sectoral Rapid Needs Assessment Teams (MRAT) concerning Afghan returnees. Conducted from November 2023 to February 2024, the assessment targeted over 24,000 households across seven regions of Afghanistan. The objective of the MRAT is to identify and respond to the humanitarian impacts and needs of individuals returning from Pakistan, providing data on critical response needs and gaps in support. The report outlines the roles of various humanitarian groups in addressing the needs of returnees and emphasizes the importance of a coordinated response to both immediate and long-term concerns. Key findings indicate that many households face significant challenges related to food security, financial aid, and housing. Despite these difficulties, a majority of families expressed a desire to remain in Afghanistan, suggesting opportunities for humanitarian organizations to collaborate in alleviating the struggles faced by vulnerable populations. The report also includes demographic insights and highlights the prevalent registration documents among the surveyed households.
