Disaster Recovery Solution for Multi-Business Enterprise

This case study outlines a disaster recovery (DR) solution implemented for a multi-business enterprise operating from over 30 locations in North America. The client faced significant challenges in developing a DR solution that met specific recovery point objectives (RPOs) and recovery time objectives (RTOs) while adhering to budget constraints. US Signal provided a comprehensive solution that included Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) with continuous data protection, leveraging existing hardware and ensuring seamless integration with the client's infrastructure. The solution involved hosting virtual instances of the client's firewall platform and Active Directory domains within US Signal's cloud, ensuring high availability and best practice protection. Continuous replication of approximately 260 virtual machines was established, with a robust monitoring system in place to meet service level agreements (SLAs). The client reported on-going savings and improved operational efficiency, as the solution freed up internal IT staff from managing on-site data centers. Regular testing of the recovery process further enhanced the reliability of the DR solution.
