Cloud Migration Configurator Tool Development

This document is a case study detailing the collaboration between UsefulBI and HP Inc. to address challenges related to HP's on-premise servers prior to their migration to the cloud. The case study outlines the problems faced by HP, including maintenance difficulties, scalability issues, and performance limitations that hindered data management and business decision-making. UsefulBI developed a configurator tool designed to facilitate the cloud migration process, utilizing HP's existing ABCR framework to manage metadata effectively. The configurator tool enables users to define migration steps for various data layers across multiple cloud environments. Additionally, the case study highlights the key features of UsefulBI's Code Configurator product, which enhances onboarding for new data projects, improves efficiency in data processing, and automates code generation.
