Remittance Transaction Process Engine Development

This technical report outlines the development of a Remittance Transaction Process Engine as part of a global rebranding initiative by UAE Exchange, which has rebranded its non-UAE operations as Unimoni. The report details the creation of a Payments-Platform-as-a-Service (PPaaS) architecture designed to support the diverse needs of financial partners within the Finablr network. It describes the migration from a traditional on-premise platform to a microservices-based architecture, enabling high-performance payment processing. The PPaaS platform is designed to facilitate seamless money transfers across various channels and currencies, ensuring scalability and security. The report also highlights the implementation of a complete API stack for end-to-end remittance processing, which allows financial institutions to integrate services efficiently. The project was completed with a minimum viable product delivered within 60 days, showcasing the platform's capabilities in managing large transaction volumes at reduced costs.
