Manhattan Associates Application Security Program Implementation

This document is a case study detailing the implementation of an application security program by Manhattan Associates, a cloud-native supply chain solution provider. The objective was to automate application security within their cloud-native development environment using the Veracode Intelligent Software Security platform. The challenge faced by Manhattan Associates involved the transition from traditional on-premise software to cloud-native solutions, necessitating a security solution that could assure customers of data protection. The company aimed to enhance developers' security awareness and automate code verification processes. The solution involved building a comprehensive application security program that integrated various Veracode products, including Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis, Software Composition Analysis, and Manual Penetration Testing. The results included accelerated security feedback, automated testing for real-time results, and improved monitoring and reporting capabilities, ultimately strengthening Manhattan's competitive position in the industry.
