This case study details the implementation of Veradigm Ambient Scribe at Women First of Louisville, a private obstetrics and gynecology practice. Established in 1988, the practice has 23 providers and aims to enhance women's health care. The study outlines the challenges faced by Dr. Ann Grider regarding time-consuming documentation, particularly during complex GYN visits. To address these issues, Dr. Grider sought a solution that would streamline her workflow without compromising patient interaction. The introduction of Ambient Scribe in July 2025 significantly reduced documentation time by approximately 50%, allowing for more efficient patient care and improved work-life balance. The onboarding process was supported by Veradigm, making it easier than previous transitions to electronic medical records. The tool has enhanced the quality of documentation, enabling Dr. Grider to focus more on patient interaction rather than note-taking. The practice plans to expand the use of Ambient Scribe to additional providers to further improve efficiency and reduce after-hours charting.
