This technical report presents an innovative workflow for addressing multiple contamination in seismic data from the south of Oman, specifically targeting the Haushi interval. The workflow utilizes a pre-migration, pre-stack demultiple sequence that effectively removes surface and internal multiples through the generation of accurate reflectivity models. The methodology involves least-squares multiple imaging to derive a reliable reflectivity of multiple generators in the near surface, which is then used in a one-way wave-equation multiple prediction method. The report details the iterative approach employed to model and subtract multiple energy, emphasizing the importance of a primary model to preserve geological events during the subtraction process. Results indicate that the demultiple flow significantly improved the imaging of the Haushi interval and facilitated a clearer geological interpretation. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in enhancing seismic data quality, thereby aiding exploration efforts in the region.
