This case study details the implementation of Accipiens, a contract management system, by Volkswagen Financial Services China (VWFC) as part of their growth strategy. The objective of the project was to enhance operational efficiency and streamline processes within VWFC. The study outlines the challenges faced, including the need to optimize time-consuming manual workflows and expedite application processing to meet service level agreements. The project involved over 40 resources and was divided into five streams, focusing on requirement analysis, configuration, integrations, API development, and migration. The implementation resulted in substantial cost savings, improved workflow automation, and a centralized product configuration.
