This document is a case study detailing the implementation of WALLIX Privileged Access Management (PAM) at SIAAP, the Paris sanitation services company. SIAAP is responsible for transporting and treating wastewater for nearly 9 million residents in Paris, managing significant volumes of water daily. The company faced challenges in securing access for external vendors and protecting the integrity of their SCADA systems, particularly given the environmental risks associated with untreated water discharge. To address these issues, SIAAP sought a swift and user-friendly solution. Following a successful Proof of Concept, WALLIX PAM was integrated into their existing architecture in under two weeks. The implementation provided streamlined vendor access, enhanced connection traceability, and improved user adoption among internal teams. The case study highlights the benefits of WALLIX PAM, including its agentless installation and comprehensive logging of operations, which significantly enhanced the security of SIAAP's infrastructure.
