This case study details the implementation of AssetCloud by Livonia Central School District (CSD), a public school district in New York serving 1,442 students. The document outlines the challenges faced by the district prior to migrating to a cloud-based asset tracking solution, which included limitations in tracking items only from a specific computer on one campus. This situation hindered daily operations due to extended search times for asset information. The solution involved upgrading to AssetCloud, allowing for tracking items from any location across all campuses. The results indicate that AssetCloud now efficiently tracks over 5,598 IT equipment items across 12 sites and 307 locations. The centralized data storage feature is highlighted, providing critical details such as costs and item age. The transition was supported by training from an AssetCloud expert, and the team reports that the software is user-friendly and convenient, significantly improving their asset tracking and auditing processes.
