This case study details the implementation of Wasp Asset by Progress Glass Company, a family-owned glass and glazing contractor in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to adopting Wasp Asset, the company faced significant challenges in tracking equipment, leading to unnecessary expenses and lost time due to misplaced tools. The objective was to enhance asset management by accurately tracking equipment locations, monitoring repair costs, and maintaining overall asset value. After selecting Wasp Asset based on its affordability and positive trial experience, the company centralized its equipment management, allowing for better assignment, repair documentation, and visibility across the organization. Currently, three departments utilize Wasp Asset to manage around 1,500 tools and devices across 50 locations, resulting in reduced unnecessary purchases and improved tracking of repairs. The customizable features of Wasp Asset have further aligned the system with the company's processes, leading to increased efficiency in asset management.
