Electronic Brake Systems Development Process Management

This document is a case study detailing the development of the Electronic Brake Systems Development Process Management system for a leading manufacturer of electronic and hydraulic brake systems. The objective of the system was to enhance and manage business processes while reducing project management time. WaveAccess was selected for its expertise and ability to meet the specified requirements. The project involved several stages, starting with the receipt of a concept document and a static HTML prototype. The WaveAccess team, in collaboration with RD-Software, designed a database and generated a persistence layer using the Middlegen tool. They developed a user interface with significant control elements in DHTML and HTC, utilizing AJAX for improved application responsiveness. Additionally, a flexible reporting system was created, capable of producing complex reports in RTF format with minimal programming required for new report creation. The technologies employed included JavaEE, AJAX, JavaScript, and Oracle 10G.
