This case study outlines the challenges faced by the Transportation of Intermediaries Association (TIA) regarding their learning management system (LMS). TIA encountered issues with limited integration capabilities, leading to manual communication methods, multiple sign-ons, and ineffective course delivery. These challenges resulted in extensive administrative work, a fragmented user experience, and significant costs in terms of time and resources. The case study details TIA's implementation of TopClass, a robust LMS integrated with their Engagement Management System (EMS), iMIS. This integration aimed to automate processes, streamline communication, and enhance course delivery. As a result, TIA achieved a 64% increase in revenue over two years and expanded their course offerings. The integration also facilitated meeting accreditation standards set by The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV). The case study highlights the positive impact of the LMS on member engagement, course offerings, and administrative efficiency.
