This case study outlines the recruitment and retention support provided by WCG Clinical for a top pharmaceutical sponsor's Uterine Fibroid study across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The study faced challenges in enrolling female participants due to an influx of external participants recruited through a media vendor, which strained the study sites' resources. WCG deployed Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) to assist with recruitment efforts, including conducting phone screens, scheduling appointments, and managing administrative tasks through the My Patient® portal. The case study details the proactive outreach strategies employed by WCG, including community engagement and reviewing patient charts to identify potential participants. As a result of these efforts, WCG pre-screened over 25,000 potential participants, scheduled over 3,000 appointments, and successfully enrolled more than 150 women. The study highlights the effectiveness of WCG's personalized approach in enhancing participant conversion rates compared to traditional media campaigns.
