This document is a guide detailing the SHRM Volunteer Leader Specialty Credential program, which is designed for current and emerging Volunteer Leaders within SHRM chapters and state councils. The program consists of five self-paced modules aimed at enhancing volunteer leadership skills and understanding of SHRM's affiliate community. Participants will engage in tailored learning to meet leadership expectations and demonstrate their commitment to SHRM. The modules cover various topics, including SHRM's mission and values, the structure of the Volunteer Leader community, leadership styles, volunteer management, and available resources. Upon completion, learners will earn a credential certificate, a digital badge, and Professional Development Credits (PDCs) if they are SHRM-certified. The program aims to equip Volunteer Leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive meaningful change within their communities.
