Mixing Modern Multi-core Processors with Open Architectures

This research article explores the development of next-generation smart avionics display systems, focusing on the integration of ARMv8 multi-core processors and open architectures. It discusses the challenges and benefits of adopting modern technologies such as hardware virtualization, GPU acceleration, and modular system design, while addressing safety certification requirements in the aerospace industry.
