This report is an impact assessment of the Reading Program for the fiscal year 2024-25, funded by WNS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. and implemented by Palvi Education Trust. The program aimed to enhance children's access to age-appropriate reading materials in underserved urban and peri-urban areas across five states in India. It utilized a dual-model approach, featuring both static and mobile libraries, and successfully reached over 29,000 children, with a significant female participation rate. The assessment highlights improvements in reading fluency, comprehension, and overall academic confidence among participants. Data collected from interviews and surveys indicate that many children now find reading longer texts easier and enjoy reading more than before. The program also fostered parental engagement and awareness regarding the importance of reading. While the initiative showed positive outcomes, the report suggests that further efforts are needed to strengthen home learning support and sustain independent reading habits. Recommendations for future program cycles are also provided.
