This case study details Scribe Media's experience in managing a distributed network of over 1,500 freelancers, including writers and creatives. Initially, Scribe Media faced challenges in tracking and managing freelancers due to the use of multiple fragmented systems, which led to inefficiencies in onboarding, project assignments, and payment processing. The Operations Manager, Justine Schofield, highlighted the difficulties in maintaining cohesion and accuracy across various platforms. To address these issues, Scribe Media implemented Worksuite, a centralized freelancer management system. The deployment of Worksuite streamlined the onboarding process and improved project assignment efficiency. Since its implementation in August 2017, Scribe Media has significantly reduced the time and resources required for freelancer management, resulting in a smoother book creation process.
