This case study outlines the integration and standardization of financial and regulatory reporting data for a global property and casualty (P&C) insurance organization. The client faced challenges due to operations in various geographies, leading to scattered financial data that complied with local regulatory requirements but lacked enterprise-wide standardization. The Xceedance team initiated the project by analyzing the company's upstream processes to understand data flow and assess front-end systems. They identified the need to streamline data inputs and collaborated with multiple stakeholders to develop a structured process. The project was executed in four phases, focusing on categorizing input and output reports, automating data preparation, and maintaining a robust repository for audit purposes. Checkpoints and reconciliations were established to ensure data accuracy and compliance with predefined standards. The results included adherence to turnaround times, improved access to financial data, and enhanced management capabilities for real-time analysis and corrective action.
