This case study documents the challenges faced by Graphtech, a printing company, in meeting client demands due to unreliable equipment, inefficient workflows, and color quality issues. The existing digital front end (DFE) could not handle large-volume jobs, leading to missed deadlines and client dissatisfaction. In response to increased market pressure for high-quality, short-run print jobs, Graphtech implemented the Xerox Iridesse Production Press. This solution enhanced print quality, increased productivity, and streamlined workflows for variable data printing. The Iridesse Press allowed for fast processing of high volumes of personalized print jobs while maintaining offset quality. The results included improved customer satisfaction, faster turnaround times, and the ability to cater to high-end custom print markets, particularly for Fortune 500 clients. The case study illustrates how the adoption of advanced printing technology can drive growth and efficiency in the competitive printing industry.
