This case study details the implementation of the 4me service management platform by NAFTA a.s., an international company specializing in natural gas storage and hydrocarbon exploration. The document outlines the challenges faced by NAFTA, particularly the need to transform its local IT team into a shared service provider for its expanding operations in Germany and beyond. The previous ITSM solution, Microsoft System Center Service Manager, was inadequate for supporting multiple business units from a single account. The selection of 4me was based on its compatibility with ITIL best practices and its ability to facilitate cross-enterprise collaboration. The implementation process was completed in two phases, with the German operations going live in May 2022 and Slovakia following in February 2023. The case study highlights improvements in user experience, productivity, and the overall efficiency of IT operations, emphasizing the platform's cloud-based nature and its user-friendly features, including Auto Translation. NAFTA anticipates further expansion and integration of additional services in the future.
