Hybrid Cloud Solution for Government Healthcare

This case study outlines a hybrid cloud solution developed for a national healthcare organization in Europe by a global Systems Integrator in collaboration with Zayo. The healthcare organization aimed to expand its secure digital platform to enhance collaboration between health and social care entities. The project involved re-platforming services to the public cloud and configuring delivery to support Microsoft Office 365 and other cloud-native workloads. Key initiatives included Hybrid Cloud integration, Microsoft Azure directory deployment, and the rollout of Microsoft Teams to facilitate communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. The implementation resulted in a significant increase in Microsoft Teams adoption and improved communication capabilities for remote care workers. The solution also featured upgraded Internet connections and DDoS protection to secure critical traffic.
