This case study outlines the cloud migration project undertaken for a luxury wear brand with over 40 years of tradition and an annual revenue of $3.9 billion. The brand faced significant challenges during high sales events, including website accessibility issues and unreliable web page responses due to insufficient IT scalability. Zensar Technologies was tasked with designing and deploying a cloud migration solution to enhance reliability and scalability of APIs. The solution involved a three-pronged approach: understanding the existing challenges, phased deployment of region-specific and global APIs, and continuous optimization with monitoring and root cause analysis. The implementation of AWS API Gateway and other AWS Cloud Services facilitated the migration. As a result, the luxury brand experienced a 20 percent year-over-year increase in revenue and a 40 percent reduction in infrastructure costs, enabling them to better manage seasonal demand and fund future modernization projects.
