This case study outlines the application of Dynamic Footfall for a national fast-food restaurant chain planning a local marketing campaign across 12 high streets. The objective was to identify genuine demand and optimal locations for out-of-home (OOH) advertising and local door drops, moving beyond surface-level footfall data. The analysis involved comparing footfall by hour and day, assessing competitor proximity, and understanding visitor origin flows. The findings revealed significant differences between the high streets that were not visible through footfall alone, allowing the client to narrow down their focus to three high-yield areas. This strategic approach enabled the business to concentrate its marketing efforts and budget on locations with the highest potential impact, resulting in a more effective local marketing strategy. The insights gained from Dynamic Footfall, combined with broader location intelligence, empower businesses to make informed decisions regarding investment and marketing activities.
